How to use LIPITOR®

The starting dose and maintenance doses of LIPITOR® should be individualized according to patient characteristics, such as goal of therapy and response.1

Should family members practise better routines together with the patient?

Most of the advice is applicable to patients, e.g. having a balanced diet and frequent exercises are applicable to healthy people and benefit the entire family.2

Is exercising with the patient effective?

Besides reducing stress, regular exercise can bring a good time for everyone involved.
Simple exercises like strolling and swimming are also good ideas. 3

How to test cholesterol

It is important to have your blood cholesterol levels checked by your doctor with a blood test. 4 Whether fasting, which is not eating or drinking beverages for 9 – 12 hours before the test is needed will be determined by the doctor. 4
